Morgan Bechler - Director/Lead TeacherMorgan is the co-lead director and teacher of the GSRP Program at Little Minds Learning Academy. Morgan has had a passion for teaching as long as she can remember. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood General/Special Education in 2018. She has taught 1st grade and Kindergarten in the last 4 years. Her passions include science and inquiry based learning practices as well as learning through play. She is very excited to bring Little Minds Learning Academy to our community!

Kayleen Allred - Director/Lead TeacherKayleen is the co-lead director and teacher of the GSRP Program at Little Minds Learning Academy. Kayleen has wanted to be a teacher since she was in elementary school. She received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a double minor in Reading and Early Childhood Education from Spring Arbor University in 2015. She developed a passion for early childhood education while teaching Kindergarten for 7 years. She has found a love for learning about best practices for young students and play-based learning strategies. She is thrilled to be able to start Little Minds Learning Academy with her passionate and driven friend Morgan Bechler and give these young learners the education they deserve!

Kara Mueller

Kara joined our team at Little Minds in the Fall of 2024 as a substitute teacher. We are thrilled that as of the 2025-2026 school year Kara will officially be the Assistant Teacher in our 4 year old GSRP classroom. Kara shares a passion and love for helping our students learn and grow and loves spending time with "the littles" after spending 25+ years in Elementary through High School teaching Spanish and Psychology. Kara has her bachelors of arts with a major in Spanish and minor in Psychology, and her masters of arts in Spanish.

Erin Bowen - Sprouts Lead Teacher

Erin joined our team at Little Minds in the Spring of 2023 with years of experience caring for children. Erin is the lead teacher in our 3 year old Sprouts Program. She has previously worked in other child care settings and has a love for helping little learners. She has her associates degree from Northern Michigan University in Child Care Services and is currently working on her CDA. Erin can often be found immersing herself in play with the students encouraging them to use problem solving and self regulation skills. She also is our go-to craft creator making all sorts of fun creations with the students! Erin brings a smile to everyone's face each day and Little Minds is lucky to have such a caring and experienced care giver like her!

Molli Oswald- Teacher AssistantMolli joined our Little Minds team in the 2024-2025 school year. She is a Teacher Assistant in our Sprouts 3 year old program. Molli is a sweet soul eager to help our 3 year old students learn and grow! Molli earned her CDA in the Spring of 2025 and has a love for learning best practices for our 3 year old students. She is a joy to have on our team!
